Mets drop another series. Swept by Marlins.

The Mets lost their fifth straight game, including their ninth  out of their last ten games on the road, being swept by the Florida Marlins in a four game set. With the loss, the Mets, who are now two games under .500 at 18-20, fell into the cellar of the NL East. To make matters worst, starting pitcher Jonathan Niese experienced pain in his surgically repaired right hamstring. Neise is expected to fly to New York for an MRI, and the Mets can only hope the injury is not severe. While the offense has show some signs of life the past two games scoring 13 runs, the pitching staff now seems to be in disarray, with Ollie Perez being demoted to the bullpen and the possibility that Niese may miss a couple of starts.
